About Liliane Gingras
Liliane joins Rubin Thomlinson with management experience in the public and private sectors. A skilled leader and investigator, Liliane is effective at providing strategic direction on the planning and execution of investigations and critically assessing the work of other investigators. Pragmatic, personable and fair, Liliane likes the challenge of finding creative solutions to simplify complex investigations. She gives clients the facts they need to make informed decisions in difficult situations by delivering clear, balanced and logical investigation reports.
Expertise & Services
As Review Counsel, Liliane partners with the firm’s investigators to help them plan, write and finalize their reports. She serves the firm’s clients by reviewing reports prepared by their internal workplace investigators to ensure they are legally defensible, well-reasoned and sound. Liliane also conducts investigations involving professional and ethical misconduct, in both the public and private sectors.
Before joining Rubin Thomlinson, Liliane was General Counsel with the Office of the Integrity Commissioner of Ontario where she oversaw a team of investigators and conducted investigations into allegations of wrongdoing against elected officials, public servants and lobbyists. She has also served as the Director of Compliance for Purolator Inc. Through these roles, she has gained extensive knowledge about ethical issues, such as conflicts of interest, and the intake and investigation of confidential whistleblower complaints.
