About Liliane Gingras

Liliane joins Rubin Thomlinson with management experience in the public and private sectors. A skilled leader and investigator, Liliane is effective at providing strategic direction on the planning and execution of investigations and critically assessing the work of other investigators. Pragmatic, personable and fair, Liliane likes the challenge of finding creative solutions to simplify complex investigations.

Expertise & Services

Liliane’s expertise is in conducting whistleblower investigations. She also acts as an intermediary to receive reports from whistleblowers, provides advice on the intake and investigation of whistleblower reports, and advises on whistleblower programs and policies.

As Review Counsel, Liliane partners with the firm’s investigators to help them plan, write and finalize their reports. She serves the firm’s clients by reviewing reports prepared by their internal workplace investigators to ensure they are legally defensible, well-reasoned and sound.

Background

Before joining Rubin Thomlinson, Liliane was General Counsel with the Office of the Integrity Commissioner of Ontario where she oversaw a team of investigators and conducted investigations into allegations of wrongdoing against elected officials, public servants and lobbyists. She has also served as the Director of Compliance for Purolator Inc. Through these roles, she has gained extensive knowledge about ethical issues, such as conflicts of interest, and whistleblowing.
