About Veronica Howard
Veronica is an empathetic, detail-oriented investigator and workplace restoration facilitator. She is appreciated by clients for her thoughtful approach and high level of intuition toward the interpersonal strains and stresses that contribute to dysfunctional workplaces. Veronica enjoys helping clients address and overcome seemingly intractable issues, offering all participants the opportunity to return to a workplace that is respectful and productive.
Expertise & Services
At Rubin Thomlinson, Veronica conducts workplace investigations, assessments and reviews — including those related to complaints of sexual harassment, bullying, code of conduct breaches, and other forms of misconduct. She is very thorough and has a particular passion for procedural fairness.
Veronica also conducts workplace restorations, a bespoke process to address fractured workplaces, such as toxic work environments, interpersonal conflict, and dysfunctional teams. Each workplace restoration is tailor-made to suit the unique needs and goals of the workplace, and may involve group facilitation, conflict coaching for small teams, individual coaching or restorative conferences.
Veronica has gained extensive experience as a volunteer restorative dialogue facilitator with Peacebuilders, a Toronto court diversion program. There, she leads non-confrontational dialogues (“circles”) between the accused, the victim, and community members, enabling them to have respectful conversations about difficult subjects and re-build their relationships. Veronica offers a version of this process to organizations experiencing workplace conflict or dysfunction to assist them in moving past the conflict to create a more positive and productive work environment for staff.
